part of our
business orientation is, along with software development solutions,
user counseling on strategy and changeability of information
technology, and support in organization, training, banking technology,
standards, documentation and system-analysis.
Due to its
long years
of experience and knowledge of banking information system technologies,
ABIT has developed and delivered banking software to 15 banks (in
Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina).Constant
investment in research, inspection and application of new technologies,
especially training and development of new staff, made ABIT a company
of over 25 highly qualified and specialized experts with large experience in
developing and maintaining banking information systems in Croatia and
Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In
the period until 1997
Developed, delivered and implemented the banking software in over 10
money institutions in Croatia (mainly banks).
In 1997 three of the founders
from Varaždin buy out the founding capital of Alfatec, of Zagreb
(amounting to 35%). In the same year the company is approved alone by
Medimurska Banka to buy business premises, where the co. is still
operating today.
since 1997
ABIT operates on the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in Privredna
Banka in Bihac and Auro Banka in Vitez, where its integral banking
information systems are fully operational.
1998 -2000
The banking crisis in Croatia, some 20 money institutions (mostly
banks) end up in liquidation. ABIT loses 6 of its customers –
banks, which end in liquidation, so it intensifies its activities on
the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina through its representative, the
company VisualSoft Ltd from Sarajevo (where it has ownership share),
and gained the trust of two significant banks in B&H (Postbank
BH in Sarajevo and Tuzlanska Banka).
2000 – 2003
two more Croatian banks (Partner Banka Zagreb and Banka Kovanica
Varaždin) decide and implement our integral banking information system.
2004
ABIT established, documented, applied and is maintaining the quality
system according to international standard ISO 9001:2000.
2005
ABIT signed Partner Agreement with:
Sybase Co. as an partner for DW and BI
Automated Workflow Pvt. as an partner in providing Business
Process Management solutions to Financial Institutions
Business Objects Co. as an
strategic partner in Business Intelligence for Financial Institutions
2006 HPB Stambena

2007 Abit d.o.o.
and JakopSoft d.o.o., two
respectable
Croatian IT
companies, have completed merger
under name Abit, d.o.o.Two
companies merged together because combining our inovative solutions
